Prayer Baptist Church was established in September of 1951 and still stands strong on the same old time, biblical beliefs today. We are a KJV Independent Baptist church with a wonderful, welcoming church family. 

 

While our church was established 68 years ago, this September, we still believe in the power of prayer and the power of faith in the Lord. While the world is ever changing, our work in this life continues; as does God's work in our own lives. 

 

OUR PURPOSE:

To serve God and share the gospel with the communities around us. We strive to disciple and grow in the Lord through preaching, teaching and worshiping God the Father. God gives us all a new beginning through salvation, one that we are instructed to chose to serve Him in. We purpose in our hearts to follow God and His Word in living our lives and growing closer to Him. 

 

Ephesians 4:1-6

I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called, With all lowliness, and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love; Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
